About Me
Leveraging the power of instructional technology, I provide virtual and face-to-face professional development that engages, equips and empowers educators to improve teaching and learning.
As a language arts and reading teacher, leaving the classroom was a labor of love. While I knew that I would miss my students, I also knew that I could help more students by helping more teachers. To that end, I have spent over 15 years training teachers in all core content areas. My areas of specialization include technology, literacy, student engagement and differentiated instruction.
When I’m not training teachers, my location independent lifestyle affords me the opportunity to stay relevant in the classroom by teaching K12 ESL part-time in Paris, France.

Audience: New and potential clients
Brief: Regional managers were spending an inordinate amount of time providing one on one product overviews, but were barely making a dent in the territory. In response, I designed a virtual solution - a series of on-demand videos introducing new clients to the product features and benefits while also providing a sneak peek for potential clients.

Virtual Training (Adobe Connect, Mimio Notebook)
Audience: K12 School Teachers
Brief: I was contracted by the client to help their team of Digital Learning Specialists (DLS) improve the engagement and effectiveness of their monthly teacher training webinars. Capitalizing on the opportunity to provide on-the-job training, I designed and delivered an initial webinar for the teachers to model effective engagement strategies for the DLS team. This clip provides examples of some of the strategies I employed during the webinar.

Event-in-a-Box
Job Aid (print)
Audience: Sales Teams including Area Managers, Channel Managers, Pre-sales engineers.
Brief: After hosting several successful regional sales events as a trainer and pre-sale engineer, I was asked to train the remaining US sales teams to replicate my success across the country. Instead of taking valuable time out of the field, I hosted a webinar where I revealed this “event-in-a-box” toolkit which I developed as a just in time resource to streamline the event planning process for use when the need arose. The following overview not only outlined the steps of the process, but it also included hyperlinks to the assets needed for completing each phase of the event planning process.
Deliverable: Step-by-step guide with accompanying materials for planning and executing local exposure events.
